LLS works to ensure policymakers at every level of government are addressing the needs of blood cancer patients. We promote policies that lead to the development of cures and help patients access affordable, high-quality treatment. Volunteer advocates – such as patients, caregivers, family members and others impacted by blood cancer – are critical to this work. They help us make sure lawmakers in Washington, D.C. and state capitals hear patients loud and clear. As the world continues to battle COVID-19, this work is needed now more than ever before.
Join us on May 6 and hear from LLS staff and volunteer advocacy leaders how The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is helping to influence the government response to COVID-19. Most importantly, you’ll learn how your voice can contribute to this effort.
